Listening, Seeing, and Feeling

There is so much we can learn by looking at the works of our Lord! There is a purpose in everything created. God created the universe to introduce Himself and make Himself beloved. He set up the earth like a table of blessings, and made humans the honored guests at that table.

We have come to this world to learn, to develop, and to draw a roadmap for ourselves using our intellect. How fortunate are those who use their minds correctly and find the path they should follow! While humans are small in the grand scheme of things, they have come to live in a vast world. To prevent them from getting lost on this journey, God has sent them guides. He has made everything, living and non-living, serve humanity.

Unfortunately, sometimes humans cannot see what they need to see. Closing their eyes and feeling what they see can help them better perceive the essence of things. So, let’s close our eyes now and listen. Let’s lend an ear to the wind as it strolls among the leaves. Look, a bee just passed by; let’s listen calmly. The insects are singing to us. The waves are frolicking and playing with the shore.

Now, let’s feel what we’ve heard. Let’s pull it deep into our souls. There are so many secrets, and all of creation tells us so much. They are teaching us how to live together–to coexist without hurting, without harming anyone. They are not just telling us; they are showing us by living it themselves. Is it possible not to see the rhythm and harmony among all these things? The flawless order of the absolute Master of all dominion inspires awe in humans. Everything is constructed with such precision that it is impossible not to see and be filled with gratitude, not to be amazed.

Now, let’s sit and reflect. Why can’t we live with those of our own kind? They also have feelings just like us. Don’t we need to make an effort to understand them too?

Not causing fights, respecting differences, and learning are more befitting of human dignity.

Let’s not get angry at those who are not like us; let’s accept their differences. Let’s try to live together as brothers and sisters, in peace. We will see that it’s not difficult.
